Student Feedback on the MedLog Programme
Thank you to Samson Tefera for allowing us to use the following feedback from their Medlog programme:
The quality of the teaching modules was first class as they were well written and effectively presented the complex medical logistics concepts.
The most important value of this program is that it is not just theoretical one, but actually very pragmatic and SCILaid simulation is the real world.
The approach to CHMLP is a competence rather than knowledge based and we were required to demonstrate our ability to apply the knowledge gained within a simulated disaster relief scenario.
I completed Certification in Humanitarian Logistics some years ago and was familiar with this simulation and with the general approach.
The Medical Supply Chains are often more complex than CHL due to the following factors; including the design of the network, Legal requirements that affect the procurement, storage, transport and importing of items, quality assurance requirements and the characteristics of medical items.
Finally I would like to thank LLA and its distinguished coaches for well structured, flexible and high standard of programme.
