Essentials
Aimed at: People new to the logistics sector; people working in other areas who need to understand the supply chain and how it fits the objectives of the business.
- PRODUCTION ESSENTIALS
- Summary: What is production; Where does production fit within the supply chain; Why is production important; How production works; Measuring performance; How production can be improved.
Intermediate
Aimed at: Supervisors and Managers responsible for the day-to-day productions planning activities of logistics operations; Managers of other departments who require a more in-depth knowledge of the procurement function.
- PRODUCTION OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
- Summary: Time-scales and manufacturing requirements; Date production for production plans; Reviewing production plans and identifying operating regimes/planned output levels; Relevant data capture for the development of plans and schedules; Review capacity plans and identify capacity constraints; Developing solutions.
Advanced
Aimed at: Managers with responsibility for planning supply chain and logistics activities in the medium term.
- ADVANCED LEVEL PRODUCTION PLANNING
- Summary: Concepts of production planning; fundamentals of production planning; Current manufacturing and materials planning systems; Managing material flows through a production process.
