Inventory Essentials
Aimed at: People new to the logistics sector; people working in other areas who need to understand the supply chain and how it fits the objectives of the business.
- INVENTORY ESSENTIALS
- Summary: Defining inventory and its management; Exploring the importance of inventory management in the supply chain; How inventory management works; Measuring inventory performance; How inventory management can be improved.
Intermediate
Aimed at: Supervisors and Managers responsible for the day-to-day inventory activities of logistics operations; Managers of other departments who require a more in-depth knowledge of how inventory management work.
- INVENTORY OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
- Summary: The function of inventory management; Stock control; Inventory performance management.
Advanced
Aimed at: Managers with responsibility for planning the flow of inventory through the supply chain and logistics activities in the medium term.
- ADVANCED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SKILLS
- Summary: What is inventory management; Principles of inventory management; Modern inventory management systems; Managing inventory flows through a network.
Intermediate
- INVENTORY TECHNIQUES OPEN COURSE
- Summary: The function of inventory management; stock control; Inventory management techniques; Stock time curve and product life cycle; The financial impact of holding too much stock; The classification and profiling of demand; Economic Order Quantities; Continuous & periodic review systems; Concepts of forecasting, seasonality and forecast error; Improving inventory performance.
