What do we mean by 'Continuing Professional Development'?

Certificates & Diplomas in Logistics

The pace of change in commerce and industry is such that what is accepted practice today may be superseded or even obsolete tomorrow. CPD is an ongoing process where individuals take responsibility for ensuring that their skills are updated enabling them to keep up with constant change. While the individual must take ownership of this task, it is paramount that skills development reflects organisational needs and industry trends and therefore internal and external mentors and coaches will be required to ensure that new learning is relevant, understood and can be applied in the workplace.

The consistent pursuit of excellence in the workplace can only be successful in organisations with a culture of Continuing Professional Development. There are few commercial environments with more pressure for change than the world of logistics and supply chain. The size of your company is immaterial, companies (as well as individuals) without a commitment to lifelong learning will frequently be left behind.

Logistics Learning Alliance - Continuing Professional Development for Supply Chain Personnel

The Logistics Learning Alliance has been formed to provide a service of Continuing Professional Development within the supply chain at all levels. Our approach is empathetic, practical and relevant and we have the flexibility to recognise and respond to a variety of individual learning styles.

Specialising exclusively in the development of logistics/supply chain personnel, Logistics Learning Alliance offer generic programmes (by a variety of learning methods) in sourcing, inventory, warehouse, production and transport at awareness, operational, tactical and strategic levels. We are happy to talk to individuals or organisations that see their supply chains as an integrated process rather than a series of stand alone functional silos.
