Meet the LLA Team


Peter Jones:

  • CEO and Managing Director, a military logistics spcecialist until 1998, and logistics and supply chain professional development trainer since then.  Experienced in the fields of both humanitarian and commercial logistics and supply chain management.  Peter has developed award winning programmes for personal development and team performance improvement.  Responsible for ensuring that LLA is ready in all respects to meet the requirements of our clients whenever and wherever they need us.

Carol Jones

  • Carol has been our Finance Director of LLA since we founded the company in November 2004. From a senior NHS background, Carol knows that the Investment of time and money in studying is a big decision but she strongly believes that professional development brings reward in terms of career progression, improved job satisfaction/business performance and personal fulfilment. Being a Director gives her the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the company at every level and she enjoys working with our committed team of coaches and student support. Carol looks forward to contributing further to improving the experience for our customers and to the continued growth and success of LLA.

Meet the Coaching Team:

Adrian Leigh:

  • Centre Coordinator, Adrian is our senior Coach and Internal Verifier.  He works closely with ourAwarding Bodies to ensure we remain fully compliant with their requirements for regulated qualifications.  He is also our lead for course design and development, with a good eye fro developing programmes to meet specific needs and outcomes.

Haydn Sandvig:

  • Haydn joined Logistics Learning Alliance in April 2013 With over 30 years working experience in Supply Chain and Logistics from working in the field building new facilities in the Middle East, to draw down and exit planning in Germany to project management in commercial retail logistics in multi-site locations. Haydn brings to the business a wide range of skills with people development supporting business growth being his key driving force.

Patrice De La Sayette:

  • Patrice spent 18 years in the French Army as an Officer specialising in Logistics (Assistant Transport Manager, Warehouse Manager, Supply Chain Manager). His first experience in Humanitarian Logistics was in Former Yougoslavia, when I was sent in operation.  Patrice left the army in 2007 to pursue a new career as a civilian. I'm now enjoying sharing my experience with the students through the coaching.  Patrice is the Coach/Assessor for students on the CLHFr programme.

Florence Molyneux:

  • With a background in Finance and logistics, Flo is based in Abu Dhabi with Patrice.  She has coached for LLA for five years and really enjoys working with our humanitarian students to help develop their potenmtial through learning.

Mike Armitage:

  • Mike has spent the majority of his working life involved with Logistics and its component activities. He worked up to the level of Senior Operations Manager for some of the major Companies in the Own and Third Party Warehousing and Distribution sector latterly moving into the R & D field particularly related to company mergers, take-overs, amalgamations etc. looking at their Logistics, Supply-Chains and so on. Following a redundancy he moved into the education and training sector as Head of Department - Logistics Training Centre at a Further Education College where he also expanded his Logistics based qualifications to include those for Personnel Development (Coaching), Assessor and Verifier. He Joined the LLA team a dozen years ago and is still obtaining immense personal satisfaction from the nurturing process related to student training and development.

Meet the Student and Administration Support Team

Carol Wooldridge:

  • Carol joined logistics Learning Alliance in November 2011 as one of the student support team and was soon promoted to the role of Student Support Team Manager. her main area of responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of all of our customer records so that we meet the high quality assurance standards set by the Awarding Bodies. As such, she has been a major contributor in developing a detailed system to ensure that the result of our 6 monthly visits from the external verification team is always “Excellent”. Upbeat with a friendly approach, Carol enjoys the inter-action with our student community whether it is to offer practical advice or share everyday experiences .

Caroline McClung:

  • Caroline joined Logistics Learning Alliance in July 2014 as one of the student support team. Based on her considerable experiences in sales and customer service,she is well able to offer help and guidance from a position of knowledge and offers her understanding of student issues with an empathetic and encouraging approach. Committed to maintaining accurate customer records so that we meet the high quality assurance standards set by the Awarding Bodys Caroline is enjoying the challenge of learning new systems and developing new skills.  She looks forward to expanding her role and getting to know more of the diverse range of people who make up our student community.

James O'Connor:

  • James is our Customer Services co-ordinator. He joined our team in March 2012 and was previously a student at a nearby college. James helps future students from initial enquiry right through to them getting started on their course, ensuring that they have all the information they need to decide on the best course for them. James also provide marketing support including creating newsletters, infographs, presentations and videos and give assistance to the student support team.
