UKWA Warehouse Manager CPC Pilot Programme

On 14th September the launch of the UKWA Warehouse Manager CPC course took place at Logistics Learning Alliance’s conference centre. Based in Leicestershire (Midlands), LLA delivered the first Pilot workshop to a group of attendee’s from across the UK. 

Peter Ward (Chief Executive, UKWA) and Peter Jones (MD, LLA) believe the course will not only set the UK standard but will also meet global standards for the future.

Tutor Haydn Sandvig (Right) presented the course outline, discussed the online distance learning approach and following workshops for attendance.

Attendees: Ian Bagot (Henry Diaper ltd), Jimmy Dunn (Henry Diaper ltd), Oliver Moylan (RPM ltd), Lee Greenwood (RPM ltd), Richard Cunningham (Eddie Stobart ltd), Mike Ford (Eddie Stobart Ltd) and Paul Simpson (Miniclipper Logistics) were the first to start the new standard CPC for Warehouse Managers in the UK.

The course will be an on-going programme for anyone aspiring to become a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Managers looking to achieve a recognised standard and gain a qualification. 

In addition to the Warehouse Manager CPC qualification, Logistics learning alliance are working with UKWA to provide a standard for Supervisors; this course will be introduced in spring 2017.
