World Humanitarian Day (WHD) is held every year on 19th August to pay tribute to aid workers who risk their lives in humanitarian service, and to rally support for people affected by crises around the world.
Humanitarians deliver vitally important aid and logistical expertise to the poorest and most vulnerable people and communities who are often suffering from the result of natural disasters and terrorism.
Logistics Learning Alliance (LLA), Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and everyone associated with the Fritz Institute / CILT Humanitarian Logistics Certification Programmes would like to offer our sincerest regards to all those working in the humanitarian sector and thank you all for your service and hard work.
